Looking for a way to organize your art supplies?
Here are some of my favorite ways to contain the mess on your art desk.
The never-ending scrap piles and lost art supplies forced me to reimagine how an art space could work.

First, put like things together.

Group scraps in a small box.
Gather all loose and decorated papers into folders.
Find a container for paints.
Put brushes in cups or mugs.
Arrange journals so you can find them easily.
Use an old jar or cup for pencils and pens.
Make a miscellaneous box for items you use less frequently.

If you don’t have room for a dedicated art space

Organize your most used and loved art supplies in a box or plastic container with a lid. That way everything is portable and you can work anywhere in your home.
Or consider using a tote bag to hold a few things to art journal with.
